What Cruise Ship Amenities could you not live without?
Kuki posted a thread about what cruise ship amenities you could live without so I thought I would post one with the opposite theme.
WHAT CRUISE SHIP AMENITIES COULD YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT?
Now we know that food and drink is a given for any cruise so lets hear some ideas.
I know I simply Love a ship having a big screen for movies on the Lido deck and a balcony is a must for the Mrs. and I. Free Ice cream is a favorite of mine and I love to get full body massages in the spa. A cruise wouldn't be much fun without the sports bar either!

Balcony staterooms - we are spoiled by them
Snack food locations - pizza, burgers and ice cream - a fellow has to have a vice and we like to dine late

Nightly turn down service.
A decent quality and a variety of food. (Denny's or Diner food, shipwide won't do)
Lounge shows and other entertainment
Reasonably large balcony cabins (160 sq. ft. or larger)
Air conditioning and heating is a must. Without it, even a balcony cabin is intolerable and without ventilation an inside becomes a sweat box.

Honestly, I had never really experienced turn down service until I cruised. and I have to say, its something I really enjoy when I get back to my cabin after a full evening of whatever I might have done. At home I have to say I hardly ever make my bed, (single guy etc etc) so I don't need it, but since the beds get made for me, its nice being able to just walk in and get ready for bed and crawl right in. Also, I fell in love with the duvets on the Imagination.
