Swim-up bars

Do any ships have these?

My guess is the profit/sqft. involved would not be high enough. But then again the profit for a water slide is an intangible.

Hi Bob, the only one we have ever been on is the ship currently run by P&O Australia as Pacific Pearl, ex-Ocean Village, exex-P&O MV Arcadia, exexex-Star Princess, and originally, accoring to Wiki, Sitmar Fair Majesty - boy hasn't she been around.

The bar was never that busy though as it wasn't very side, so you had to either wait for a space, or simply climb out & attract the attention of the poolside waiters.

Will be interesting to see if there are more out there.

the closest thing to a swim-up bar would have to have been Neptune's Reef Pool on the Golden Princess, there is this shallow area where you can sit, and the waiters come up to you.
