For most of us cruisers the "Doc Dance" has gone the way of the Mashed Potato.
I do remember receiving my docs in the nice faux leather document wallet and excitedly going through all of the stuff. It was nice for the first four or five cruises. After that you received your docs in a plastic or paper folder and then I would pull the luggage tags and the actual cruise documents out and throw the other stuff in the trash.
Cruising, for the mass market lines, just isn't as "glamorous" as it used to be. It's still fun though.

I really don't care how I get them as long as I get them. One nice thing about printing them yourself is you can print as soon as final payment so they can go in the folder for the trip. I know the first few cruises when we did have them mailed they came such a shor time prior to sail date that I was wondering if they would come in time. So no more of that anymore.
