Just read your blog; very good. I agree with point 3. Expectations. We expect to be treated nice, and pampered. This is why we take a cruise vacation. The cruise lines pamper us. Don't set our expectations so high, that no cruiseline or person can meet them. However, I don't necessarily agree with point 4. Taking a vacation from a vacation. I have always come back relaxed, revitalized, and happy.

I remember how much we enjoyed our first cruise, the reason being we had nothing to compare it with. It's only natural to compare a cruise to the previous one, particularly if it's a different cruise line. I think you have to try and imagine that each cruise is your very first and forget about all your preconceived notions. Not easy I know but.....that was then, this is now

We just retuned from are first cruise one week ago. And I agree that we had no other cruises to compare it to. Both my wife and I had the times Of are lives.I think your Expectations going in have alot to do with the satisfaction you get out of your cruise. We didnt know what to expect we just knew that we were doing something new to us and it would be an adventure. Now are next cruise I hope we dont sit there and compare it to are first cruise. I think it would be better to look at each cruise for what it is and take it as a new adventure in your life!
