"Fakes" and "BOTS" for cabin share posts?

Im aware that when people start a profile here that they have to start with "1 post" sooner or later..We have all been there and done that..But when I was seeking a person to share a cabin with, they all seem to have never posted here and have a "blank" profile with just a e mail adderess for contact info. And have less then 5 total posts listed.
Anyhow, I answerd a few of them to which they never respond. At least if you found somebody it would be polite to at least say " thanks but I found somebody". Im beginning to wonder if the SPAM is taking over here..LOL.

David, thanks for bringing this to our attention, it is possible that you could get some "fake" posts, if someone is sincere in posting (like yourself) especially in the seeking cruise companion thread they will keep posting, and will reply to you. IF you have any issues your best bet would be to PM (personal message) Mike, Kuki or Paul

Gee.. there's fakes on the internet? Who'd had ever thought it ? 8-)

Bots are "meachanical" and I can't see how or why anyone would want to attempt their use for that type of discussion.

The fact is, people on the net are anonymous. It's always been part of the attraction of the internet.

Some people may post looking for companions, and then change their minds. Others may feel warned to drawback by some of the reactions they get, or the feel they get for the posters personality, and choose to quietly withdraw rather than have any sort of confrontation.
