My wife, daughter, SIL and 9 yo granddaughter and 5 yo grandson will be going to Cozumel in June on the Carnival Liberty. My wife and I have been to Cozumel many times but this is the first time with young kids.
On our previous stops we've done some island touring and deep water snorkeling but this will be a little much for the grandkids. It is also the only chance to have a "beach day" on this itinerary.
So my question is: What is the best location for a family beach day in Cozumel? We would like a nice beach, kid toys and activities, food and non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. An all-inclusive would be nice but not required.
My wife and I have been to Chankanaab about 10 years ago but it left a bit to be desired. Have the facilities improved there.
Boy, cruising changes when you have kids.

It's been awhile since we were in Coz., but last time we did Paradise Beach. It was a decent beach, with the water toys (like inflatable icebergs etc), and it was optional as to whether you did all inclusive, or simply paid admittance. Beach chairs were free if you "ordered something".
Had a decent bar for lunch, or if you went all inclusive they had a buffet.
We enjoyed it. Think San Francisco Beach was right next door, with similar facilities.
honestly you can't go wrong with either Paradise Beach or Channunkaab National Park. The kids might like the fact that there is an aquarium and a replica of the Mayan ruins at Chanunkaab- facilites are decent, clean, liked the snack bar
