Cool 5 day vs 7 day

thinking of booking a cruise again...hubby and i been looking into it and cant decide whether to do a 5 or 7 day. leaning towards 7 day and booking for may 2012...just want to make the best of it and make sure we can have as much fun as possible without going over budget. also we are now living in NC where we used to live in FL...so it seems so much harder to travel to the ports...hmm

With careful planning and research, you should be able to get a 7 day cruise within your budget. Speak with a cruise specialist and have them help you with the process..Seven days is a heck more fun than five
Good Luck

7. The better ships usually don't do the shorter runs. Personally, I don't get decompressed until about day 3 anyway, so the short cruises seem too rushed. If I was still a 20-something and just wanted to party for a few days I might see it differently.

Question Length of cruise

Our experience has been that 3 or 4 day cruises are party cruises. Five days is a nice length but leaves us wanting more. Seven days is just right most of the time. Ten days makes us ready to go home at the end of it. More than that is a major trip, not just a relaxing cruise. So I would say go with the seven days!

Another consideration is airfare ... if you are flying a good distance, spread the cost over seven days instead of five makes sense!

Have a GREAT cruise!
