I have only cruised on Carnival but I was wondering if the entertainment was basically the same on all lines. Scattered throughout the day on Carnival was trivia, games, dance classes, towel folding, etc. plus night time shows. Is that how they all basically run. I am thinking of taking my 2 boys age 15 and 16 (when we would travel) to alaska and looking at other lines. They weren't terribly interested in the kids clubs but seemed to enjoy Carnivals basic daily activities. I don't want them to feel bored or uncomfortable if a ship is too stuffy if you know what I mean.
Don't forget, when in Alaska, during the day, you'll be out doing excursions, etc...So, yes, while there is still stuff going on during the day onboard, most likely you won't be on the ship anyway. The night time entertainment is about the same, the nightly shows, casino, etc....
