In December we are going on a southern caribbean cruise with one of our daughter's inlaws and are looking forward to it! Has anybody ever cruised with the inlaws?
My husband has, twice. With my parents We did a 5 day Alaska Sampler and 7 day Pride of America. Had a great time. My husband finally had someone to golf with at Kapalua.

Sorry for the smarmy answer. Have you interacted with these people socially on other occasions, not related to the wedding? If you got along them you should do fine on the cruise. Remember ships are pretty big so you don't need to be together any more than necessary.

We have twice. Once to Alaska with my then girlfriend (now wife) and her parents and her brother and his girlfriend. We had a fantastic time. We didn't eat together every night or go on every excursion together. I think we all had dinner together twice and then we ate once with her brother. We did 1 excursion together and 1 with just her brother. The rest was just the two of us. It was a nice mix and with the ships size, there were days we hardly even ran into each other.
Another time, was when my wife and I got married on board, so in addition to her parents and brother, my parents also came. On that cruise, we also did not meet every day/night with everyone so we still felt like it was a vacation/honeymoon. It was really nice having everyone together as we probably won't have that happen again anytime soon.
I have once too and it was a great time. Remember when cruising, you can do a lot of activities or none at all, so you are not with others 24/7, it should work out nicely.
I will be cruising with my daughter in law and five rug rats in Dec. looking forward to the cruise.

We have cruised lots, and taken our DS, DIL and PGB (precious grandbaby) with us many times. Our DIL's parents have never cruised and it just isn't something they can do, due to unpredictable medical expenses.
ANYWAY.... we are cruising in December with our DS and family, and we are taking our DIL's parents, too! I'm so excited. I can't wait to share this passion with them. They have heard us talk about our trips for years, and now they will get to experience it first-hand!

I don`t have inlaws, but I have travelled on two cruises with my mother and vowed to never do it again. I hope for your sake your inlaw is not a bossy-moo-cow type and wants to direct and control what happens and when. I hiope your inlaw is laid back, and willing to `go with the flow`and doesn`t take charge......
One pitfall is you don`t want to become the `tour guide` because that was me and it sucked! I won`t mention the fact that bedtime was a firm 109pm no matter what and if I didn`t go to bed at the same time I got the usual, Ì can`t get to sleep if your not there`bull crap.......needless to say the snoring generally kept me falling asleep anyhow....
No, I prefer to not cruise with family!!! I do hope you have fun and the inlaw is accommodating and flexible!

I have been on two cruises with in-laws, as well as a land-based all inclusive. We had a great time, but I'm lucky and have a great rapport with them...however, there are a few of my in-laws that I would never, EVER cruise with.
