I prefer to have most or all dinners in the MDR. I do not usually want to commit myself to an early morning in the MDR for breakfast as I am usually still up enjoying the ships entertainment until late. I am not an early morning person. I am flexible about lunch too. I like to enjoy my trip and just go with the flow ... Sometimes I'm up early, sometimes not. If I'm up early enough, I'm usually feeling guilty about what I ate for dessert the night before and wanting to hit the treadmill. In short, I'm only firm about dinner in the MDR.

I didn't vote for any of the options i had because while yes, we do a mix bag, Alternate Dining and the Buffet, we also like the Dining Rooms and room service from time to time.

Prior to our last cruise, we took all our evening meals in the MDR. However, on our last cruise (our 13th, and our longest) we had bad luck with table assignments and tablemates, so we used the Lido buffet in the evening.

The lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I will ALWAYS be in the dining room for our meals if it's open. (Port days it often isn't!) We love the leisurely meals, with GREAT food, being served by very attentive servers, with the excellent company of our fellow cruisers, and the price is right!
