We will be leaving out of Ft. Lauderdale in Jan. Does anyone one know of a liquor store near the pier where I can purchase wine? It's an extended cruise, so I will need more than a couple of bottles. With the new airline charges the cost would be prohibitive to bring it with us.
I googled it, and came up with a lot that look to be near the pier. There is a Total Wine (which we also have where I am from), and they are reasonably priced. There is one here.....

You can probably find more on their website.

Check your cruise line's policy regarding bringing wine on board. Most have a one bottle per person limit without regard to the length of the cruise.

Thank you, KD. I checked the site and that should work.
I was under the impression that I could bring as much as I wanted, but there would be a corkage fee. I will double check.

Yes I assume you cruise HAL-hense your handle/ name-so you know you can bring as much wine as you want on HAL-no limit. We all know it is normal for cruise lines charge a corkage fee-but HAL has the best policy on bring on wine.
