You have just docked at lo and behold you are next to another ship. Shadows are cast and lines criss cross the pier. Is it "cool beans" for you, or "ugh they are blocking my view, and dumping more 'tourists' in my port of call"?
A Bad Day At Sea [with power] Always Beats A Good Day At Work
Coral Princess - tour starts 5/31 in Fairbanks
It was much more common years ago to be the only ship in port. I think if one does not have the Oasis or the Allure with you in a port, it should be considered a good day, since when they pull up beside you, you know about 4,000 more people will be with you shoulder to shoulder in the jewelry store or that excursion you waited years to do. I think that picture of yours is a great shot. I don't mind it at all.

Since I am cruising, I like to see something that you definetely won't see at home.

WE had some fun watching one of the Disney ships in port that had the water tube that wrapped around the ship. You could see where they started, then went around the rear and back out again. Sure looked like fun...
