Best sailaway has to be the two times I sailed out of Venice; however, the best sailaway "party" was leaving San Juan on Radisson Diamond. Barbeque on deck with grilled shrimp and lobster, free flowing champagne and full bar (first cruise I was ever on with open bar), and wonderful weather. Just had a five piece band for entertainment but it was a great time.

I'll match your Spongebob and raise you Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Daisy, Donald and Chip and Dale!

The sail away party on FOTS (dream works characters) was very good, but Disney Dream was just excellent.

I don't want to start a flame war here but nobody tops Spongebob!
We always get as far away from the sail away party as we can. Just not our cup of tea.

Mickey Mouse lives at Disneyland (at least he did when I was a kid). Spongebob lives in a pineapple under the sea. Now how can you top that?
