Congratulations you won a cruise! The value of the contest is, $7500.00,[ Ok, I am now pretending you won $10,000!!! ]Wow, are you lucky! Will you try a luxury line, and luxuriate in, all it has to offer, or will you try to get 2 or 3 cruises out of your win?
We should all be so lucky, to have to figure out what to do

Easy answer for us! Absolutely, two or three cruises !
We're not interested in being pampered or dressing to the nines. Carnival, Princess or NCL are just fine for us.
Now, Trip, where's my $7500.00 ???

So that's $3750/pp. I'll go for an Australia/New Zealand, Asia or River Cruise for 14+ days on a Premium line like Celebrity or perhaps Azamara or Oceania.
For $3750/pp you won't get too much on a lux line. There are some bargains but you won't get much over seven days for that amount.
I look for the ports.
Take care,
Mike

Yeah I think Trip needs to be more generous. I don't think Henry will get very far on Cunard for $3750 pp.
I would like to head to the South Pacific.

I have often wondered what I would do if we won a cruise ...& although free it was something we didn't want...would we take it anyway out of greed or say it just wasn't us.

John, if one is a true crusie lover, I can't believe they would not take the opportunity to cruise, if it is a well know cruise line. I would think one would use this opportunity to perhaps see a new port, and get a first hand view of an unknown factor. You never know
If it's the Imperial Majesty,or, something like the Sea Escape or Discovery...run!!

Actually looking at chartering a crewed catamaran in the islands (BVI anr Leewards) for about that price.

Green, years ago, I used to work with the daughter of the owner, of Reebok. She used to tell me about her vacations she had sailing around the islands like that. I think the ability to just lazily peruse around those gorgeous waters, would be wonderful.
Proud of you spending your contest win, like this

Back in Feb. my sister, brother in law and 4 friends did just that; rented a large sail boat and sailed through those islands. Only difference was they had no crew, but themselves.
One couple were experienced sailors, the others learned quickly
