Cruising on TV

With all the channels and all the TV shows I can't belive there is not a show just on cruising??? Is there a show somewhere on a some channel that I have not seen? I have seen shows on certain ships like the Epic & Oasis but not on the general subject of crusing.

Most shows on cruising are about a new ship,and old ship, or a documentary..I watch them all when I can find them. There recently was a show set on NCL that had a dating theme I believe...I passed.

Several years back there was sort of a reality documentary show about Easy Cruise, a Euro based low cost cruise. It was interesting but, was only about 10 episodes.

Filming onboard is a pain for the passengers. Years agao, I was on a cruise that was filmng industrial commerials. The day I got off, Kathy Lee Gifford was coming on. We we in one commercial in a bar. They block off whatever space they need to do this onboard, and, passengers have no access to these areas of course. So, filming at sea, for others, makes their reality, a bit restrained.

I agree, as cruise lovers, we want more!!!

Travel Channel used to have annual "Cruise Week" and a number of different cruise related documentaries and programs. It seems like that has gone away.

I think the Residensea (sp) show has been on about 300 times. I actually haven't seen too much "new" stuff about cruising in quite a while.

There was of course The Love Boat and presently there is a kids show that takes place on a cruise ship .
