Things you have never done on a cruise
 

1)I never had room service .

2)I never danced .

Never jumped overboard.

I never bought anything from an art auction nor played bingo or that horse race.
I am sure there are many more things I have'nt done if I just think about it.

Never went to a art auction.
Never used the excersize equipment
Never not spent less then $500 onboard the ship.
Never ate at the Captains table
Never had sex on the balcony :mrgreen:

I remember a few things:
We we paraded in a single line to the Captains table( we met away from the MDR)
We were served first, before anybody else in the MDR
We had dipping solution for our fingers after each course
The woman were givin roses
each couple received mini menus, a replica of the real menu for that night
a full table picture was received by each couple (free of charge)
And trust me on this, the portions were huge, much bigger then what everyone else ate.

That was one of my most memorable events that happened to me on a cruise ship.

So you see, for people who do want to eat at the Captains table, just ask someone, and keep asking you never know when you will get the ok.

I've always wondered about how one is selected to dine at the Captains table .

Last July when my wife and I cruised to Bermuda we traveled with a couple from Virginia whom we met on a prior cruise . They had been on 30 HAL cruises prior to the one last year . On that cruise we were invited to the Captains Cocktail party .We got the invitation because of the couple we were cruising with .All of the other guests were either famous people or people who had accomplished heroic acts .

Henry, sometimes all you have to do is ask. It may or may not work, but you will never know if you don't try.:-P

Never done it
 

Been to the art auction a few times for kicks, never spent a nickel.
Been to the Captain's VIP cocktail party many times (my DW is a TA), eaten at the Captain's table twice and on one cruise were seated with the Captain's daughter the whole cruise, toured the Bridge, but never visited the Captain's cabin ;)
Never been on an exercise machine on the ship (but since my bypass, that might change).
Never won more than we lost in the Casino.
Never spent more than $100 in the Casino.
Never missed the ship returning from an excursion, but came real close twice.
Never tried the Sanctuary but spend a lot of time in the Thermal Suite.
Until our last cruise I had never had a shave in the salon -- but it is luxurious.
Never had ... UMMM ... on the balcony.
Never played in a Bridge group.
Been to a "meet and greet" for That Other Board, but never for CruiseMates. Why not?

NEVER missed a meal!!! :D

I never entered the poker tournament
I never attended the how to make towel animal demonstration
I've never entered the sexy legs contest
I've never entered the belly flop contest

Well, since I've only been on one "real adult" cruise, i could probably fill an entire page of stuff i haven't done! I guess i could say the things i didn't do that i wish i had...
*try out the waterpark on the ship
*tried out the club that had beds in it
*tried out the 'how to make towel animals' class
*gone to 'Atlantis" in the Bahamas

I almost didn't try the ice bar on the ship thinking it would be lame, but someone talked me into it and i AM glad i did that

Meet and Greet
 

Been to a "meet and greet" for That Other Board, but never for CruiseMates. Why not?
On my last cruise 70 people showed up for a Meet and Greet . It was organized by another board .However ,people that I spoke to named 6 different boards that they post on . I mentioned that I've checked out 18 boards .Not one of the people ever posted on CM ,amazing .

Never been to a ships Art audition
Never used the cruise pool
Never climbed a rock wall
Never used a deck chair (only on our balcony)
Never tried 'anytime' dining (we will on our next cruise)
