Default Rainy day

A variation of an earlier thread .

Scenario :

You are aboard ship ready to sail and its a very rainy day .Do you stay outside for the sailaway or go inside ,stay dry and watch from a window ?

This has actually happened to us. What DW and I did since we usually get a cabin with a balcony we did our sailaway from there. We got a little wet but not much.

This happened on my second Disney Cruise... I was outside on my veranda.

I also walked the decks while it was raining. Quietest time on deck is when the weater isn't nice.

It has never happened to me, but when the weather is warm rain does not bother me that much.

Rain never bothered me...

I use to be stationed in Ft Lewis Washington...the motto of Washington state is "Rainy season from Jan 1 - Dec 31....I think that answers the question.

I live north of Seattle and we just say "We don't tan, We rust!" If you can't handle rain for a day, better not plan any Alaska cruises from here or Vancouver. No seriously, I am taking my first Caribbean cruise in Jan and I will still bring a light nylon coat if I thought it may be pouring but probably won't wear it in all reality. I think I may just leave it home come to think of it. LONG LIVE TANK TOPS AND SWIM TRUNKS THAT LOOK LIKE BERMUDA SHORTS
