We all know having a cabin under the disco could make you crazy. Having the best cabin ever makes you smile!

What was your best location ever, and if you had the worst, my sympathy, but, tell us where it was!

I have never had a bad cabin.

I try to be far away from the louder areas.

Looking forward to hearing what people think.

I've never had a bad cabin, but I have been under the disco and the pool area. I try to avoid those areas now, it was fine but a little noisy. The best cabin I had was a suite which was mid ship.

I've never had a bad one. I like the Aft facing the best. The Corner FV on Millennium was superb as was the full suite on Sea Princess. Caribe deck on Princess is my favourite because of the oversized balconies, the half covered and they're inbetween two passenger decks.

I've never had a bad cabin, but have had next door neighbors that were bad. I do enjoy any balcony cabin, just make sure there are guest cabins above and below your choice cabin. Some ships have amazing aft balcony cabins, others not so great..

Talking Best cabin

Well, now --

The BEST cabin we ever had was when my Dear Aunt Ruth (rest her soul) booked two full suites, directly across from the Neptune Lounge. We opened up the door between the balconies and had a full long balcony, and every morning Aunt Ruth (at 91 years old) went across to the lounge and the concierge fixed her cereal and cut up her banana for her.

We don't travel like that these days.

check out our trip report and pictures of the suite life at

Once we did have a cabin over the theater. The only thing was that the bass drum reverberated through my pillow a bit.

I always go for standalone cabins whenever possible.

Usually they have the stair tower & elevators to one wall, crew access to another wall & a linen cupboard on the third wall.

VERY quiet....the best being 80456 aboard Costa Victoria...brilliant cabin, incredibly quiet 24/7...perfect

The worst cabin my wife and I had was on our very first cruise...when the Fantasy was pretty new...R159...

I am having this feeling that the best cabin I ever will have will be on Crystal cruises in December.
