Okay, I have an admission to make. One of my favorite things to do on a cruise is to watch the staff prepare for take off and hope for late arrivals.
On my first cruise we almost missed the ship as it was departing from Jamaica. We arrived (at a dead run) with 3 minutes to spare (4:57) and for the rest of the cruise everyone referred to me as "that woman who almost missed the ship."
Now I make it a hobby to dock watch as we ready to depart. As we were leaving Costa Maya, four of us were watching like vultures and when everyone was back on time, the guy standing next to me said, "Well, that was disappointing."
So, who else watches for late arrivals or has their own guilty secret about what they find cruise-amusing?
