Question Theme Cruises

I rarely hear about Theme Cruises. Is this done anymore?
Our first cruise was a Jazz Cruise and on board one of the entertainers was Cab Calloway and we saw Martha Ray sitting in one of the lounges as a guest. This was so long ago.
We never see Theme cruises advertised. Just curious.

They are out there, you just need a good cruise specialist to reseach this for you...I was on a 60's oldies rock cruise, some years back, interesting to see some of the faded stars of my youth

I loved Cab..hidey hidey hidey ho here is a link to some options available, but call a ta , and get specific info...

There are alot of theme cruises out there; just depends on what interests you. You'd be surprised the themes available, including a nude cruise, motorcycles, scrapbooking, jazz, various sports, cooking, wine, etc, etc.

As Trip mentioned, just talk to your agent and have them do the research for you.

47 Cruises & Counting! Favorites: Paul Gauguin to Tahiti: Uniworld River Cruises in Europe; any of the Celebrity Solstice-class ships; Holland America for 12-nights in the Baltics & Russia; RCCL for 14-night Greek Isles, Turkey, & Croatia; Holland America for 14-day Alaska cruisetour; 10-night Canada/New England cruise; 21 days in Hawaii including a 7-night NCL cruise; Oceania for 25 days in Asia; & 3 months touring Europe by train. And many days spent in all-inclusive resorts!

I have found theme cruises to be perhaps the most enjoyable for me. Full-ship charters are great since the group can dictate many things such as dress codes, menus, which venues are opened when, etc.

This website is a good source for finding theme cruises.

You are right that theme cruises do not get a lot of attention. There are as many now as there have ever been, and with more ships there are more cruises.

There are tons of music cruises out there, in fact NCL just bought Sixthman Productions, one of the largest music cruise production companies.

SmoothJazzCruise, Blues Cruises, and such are in their second decades of business with more than one cruise every year.

Thanks for the Info. I will try the theme cruise finder that you mentioned. A Blues Cruise sounds like a good one to consider.
