Three things non-cruisers still don't know about cruising
These days almost everyone has either tried a cruise, or knows someone who cruises regularly. With this new familiarity many of the old misconceptions about cruises have disappeared. Nevertheless, we still hear about certain surprises from first-time cruisers – things that they did not expect to find.
I want to hear from you - even in this enlightened age - what are three things about cruising that you don't think most non-cruisers know...
Please fill in the blanks
I am the editor, but I also speculate, ask questions and play devil's advocate. I reserve the right to change my mind.
1. All cruises are not "party" cruises with drunk college kids and adults. Actually, it's the 3 and 4 day cruises where you "may" find this. Seven day and longer cruises have an older demographic and are more mellow.
2. There are cruises where you can actually spend more than one day in a port.
3. Ships are larger than you think. There are plenty of places to relax or party. Whatever your mood is.
