WJCL News reports the US Coast Guard is reporting that evacuation is now complete of the passengers aboard the casino cruise liner that ran aground around 12 a.m. Wednesday morning. Coast Guard officials said that 113 people had been evacuated by boat and four had to be flown from scene due to inability to use the ladder. The evacuees of the ship were transported to a Coast Guard station on Tybee Island – 45 minutes away from the scene of the scene of the cruise ship. Officials are reporting no injuries or medical evacuations. A Coast Guard spokesman said that the boat ran into a sand bar around midnight stranding passengers and crew until over 12 hours later.
