China and Japan cruise

My husband and I are cruising parts of China and Japan on the Regal Princess cruise line in October. Has anyone taken this cruise and have comments. I would like to know how the climate is in October and if there are any places that are a "must see".

Any comments or suggestions on bargains for cruises around asia and japan? The rates I have seen are quite a bit more than Carribean rates. It seems like cruising is a fair introductory way to see the Carribean. Is it the same for Asia? Or is it best just to fly there and take tours or go on your own, ie fly to Hong Kong and take train into China or fly into Japan? FL_TPA_1956SWM@yahoo.com
