Celebrity Infinity

Have the Millennium problems been addressed on this new-build of Celebrity? Will they affect any of her scheduled early sailings? we are booked on the 2/25/01 sailing from Honolulu. Thanks

So, far no word yet from Celebrity about Infinity, so we'll all just have to wait and see. They just officially announced today about the drydock for Millennium in November. Lets hope they have better luck with Infinity. Just my opinion, but I would think they would like to have this problem fixed now while building Infinity, rather than what is happening to Millennium, but who knows if that means a delay?? Just keep checking here for the latest information. We were actually thinking about this Infinity cruise for next April, but had a change of plans, so this cruise reallly looks exciting, hope it goes for you :-)

If you go to the Celebrity Cruises Board I have several postings regarding the status of the Millennium. This info, btw, comes from a friend of mine at Celebrity who is directly involved/responsible for the newbuilding projects.

Yes, Celebrity has said that it will address the same problems in Infinity, which is still at the ship yard. I assume this ship will emerge with none of the vibration problems.
