Default in-flight movies-Northwest

Hi folks, My husband & I have booked a nonstop flight on Northwest in order to get from Memphis to San Juan for our cruise on the Ocean Princess 11/12. Does anyone know if they're likely to show a movie or where I can find out for sure? Also do you know if those little headsets work on most major carriers? We have several Delta head sets & will back them in the carry-on if they might fit.

Happy Sailing to all, web

Hi Web,
When we flew United into San Juan earlier this year, they did have movies both east and west. They also had some other programs (free) you could watch.
I know its a rather long flight and sometimes a movie is just the thing to help the time go by. I always bring a good book, thats also a help. Enjoy the flights and the cruise :-)

Last cruise (returned last week) we flew NorthWest, Calgary to NY, and then later NY to Calgary.. both ways via Minneapolis. None of the legs had an airplane with equipped for movies. I believe all 4 legs we flew were on DC9s.
For your flight it may depend what type of airplane they're using.

Regards,
Kuki

web, My husband flies Northwest alot and he believes there will definitely be a movie on this flight. He is flying this week and will check the in flight magazine to see what it says about flights to San Juan and movies. Coincidentally, we will be flying to San Juan from Memphis on 11/11 - going on the Destiny.

Will let you know later this week about the in flight movies.

Hey, I'll bet we have the same flight #s too. 1508 to sju & 1509 coming home . . .Oh we saw the Carnival Destiny in San Juan a year ago August- she has a distinctive profile.

web, talked to my husband and he looked in the inflight magazine and saw nothing about the flight to San Juan. Guess we will find out when we get in the air if we have movies or not.

Yep, have the same flight #'s as you. In fact, if you are leaving San Juan the 19th, we'll be on your flight. We live about 30 minutes from the Memphis airport - just outside of Memphis. Have a great trip!

If you call Northwest and give them your flight number, they will; be able to tell you what the equipment is and if there are movies, what your meal service is, iun otherwords, everything about your flight. If there are no movies, take a good book.

Try Northwest's web site. I think it's <http://www.nwa.com>

Most airlines list their entertainment on the web now. You can also find out what aircraft you're flying on if you look up your flight.

Enjoy!
