Default Parking vs Renting a car (Fort Lauderdale Port)

We are taking the Enchantment of the Seas December 17. We are coming from Melbourne and we were debating what makes more sense, either renting a car and dropping it at Fort LAuderdale or leave our car on the long term parking.
Can anyone tell us how much they charge there for parking as well as whether or not is practical to rent a car back and forth?

Based on the price Ernie quoted for parking you'd probably come out even financially whichever way you go.

The parking facility at Port Everglades is nice, covered and secure.

We have done the parking 3 times at Port Everglades. It is easy in and easy out. We did it twice from Orlando and once from DC. That is the only way to go!
