Default Costa Victoria

My family and I will be cruising on the Costa Victoria Mar.11-18, 2001. ( Casa de Campo, Catalina Island, Nassau, San Jaun, St.Thomas/St.John) We haven't found much information about it and we're wondering whether or not there is a games room for the kids and what other activities are there for children 12-15. Also, we're interested in snorkeling as well as dolphin encounters. Are there any affordable or well recommended places to go during port calls (for snorkeling and dolphins)?
Any information or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks, Lindsay

Hi Lindsay,
I found an older members review of Costa Victoria that may have some information you are looking for:

Catalina Island does offer some "fair" snorkeling there. If you go to the left of the landing (as you face the water) and work your way along the shore out towards the point you will gradually find some good areas with interesting sights for snorkeling. Downside is that with if the current is wrong the water could be quite murky, as Catalina is out from a minor river delta. Also beware of going all the way out to the point - a couple fellow cruisers felt a strong rip current developing while out there and turned back quickly.
Can't give you any infor on the Victoria itself except that I see www.letsgotosea.com has a review that rates the childrens program rather low compared to all other ratings. You and the kids will have fun though...when cruising you can't help it!!!

Hi again Lindsay,
There is also a Dolphin swim in Nassau, although its pricey, I understand its well worth the money and to do the swim, not the encounter. Here is a link to the site that has all the information:
