Default Honeymoon/Birthday perks

Are there any perks that honeymooners or those with birthdays can get while on board. This will be our honeymoon and my soon to be husbands birthday. I was wondering because they ask if the trip is for any special purpose when I booked it.

In the past, our TA has made arrangements for a birthday cake to be delivered to our table at dinner. I believe you could ask the cruiseline to have a cake sent for your husband also.
Happy Anniversary!

Be sure your TA notifies the cruise line of both the honeymoon and birthday. You'll most certainly get a honeymoon and birthday cake delivered to your dinner table, along with a song from the staff.
Some cruise lines also host a cocktail party for the honeymooners onboard.

In case your TA or the cruise line don't get it right, just let your waiter, the head waiter or maitre d' know and cake and singing will be provided. Our last cruise was during our anniversary and my wife's birthday, our table thought we were just out for the free cake. Enjoy the fuss and the cruise!

Hi DecBride,
I did notice while on our Princess cruise, if your travel agent lets the cruise line know about special occasions like this, they decorate your door. I was sorry we didn't have a birthday, anniversary Congrats on the upcoming wedding and honeymoon.

When we went to Bermuda two years ago we ahd two birthdays and an anniversary in the same week. We sure got tired of that song and that cake.

Its as the others ahve posted, if you want that kind of attention at table side then have your TA notify the cruise line. We've gotten to the point that we will ask the head waiter for some kind of special dessert rather than the cake. They really are very accommodating
