Follow-up upgrade Question...

Hola All,
Just a quick follow-up question on Upgrades...I've done about 6 cruises so far & have been faily luck so far. I understand that if you book an "Inside Guarantee", more that likely you could be upgraded to a better 'Inside Cabin'...Well, I have 'cheaped-out' on this cruise and booked a low-level inside cabin (Carnival Sensation this Sept).

My question is: Has anyone tried to be "Mr Friendly" at check-in and gotten positive results? Who do you have to "schmooze" to possibly go from an inside to an outside? What about the old friendly "My friend has never cruised and is feeling claustrophobic, is there ANYTHING that you can do to help me?"

You get the picture...Would I be wasting my time? It's not that big of deal -just a thought...

Hi Spike, unfortunately it won't help you get a better cabin as your cabin will have already been assigned. It will however endear you to the crew by being friendly and polite and make your cruise much more fun.
