Default Fuel Tax?

I was just wondering what is the deal with this new fuel tax Carnival is adding on to your cruise? Is there Fuel tax for every Cruise Line now? If not please e-mail me and inform me please. Thank you!

The only cruise line doing this is Carnival. But when one cruise line starts adding fuel surcharges, you can expect the others to rapidly follow suit.

Remember, the cruise lines' revenue is down significantly due to overcapacity.
Fuel prices are sky-high. Personally, I'm surprised they waited this long!
