vow renewal onboard

We are going on the Grand Princess Oct 28,2001. Although we are getting married in a samll ceremony the week before, we would like to renew our vows on the boat.
Does anyone know how this work? Is it feasable to bring along my wedding gown??

Interestingly... Grand Princess is one of the few ships that does REAL weddings on board, but they also have a wedding chapel and I am sure they do renewals. Ask your travel agent if this can be arranged in advance. If not, I would bet you it can be arranged on board by contacting the front desk.

I have seen the wedding chapel, it is beautiful, in fact I was present in the chapel for the first wedding at sea in decades during this inaugural cruise, Note the Captain officiating, and the groom about to kiss the bride...

by the way... the only limitation to taking your wedding gown is the size of your suitcase.

I just got married last month and we had our entire group join us on the Radiance. Because we live in Seattle, I didn't need to "pack" my dress. We brought it on board on a rolling clothes rack. This probably doesn't work unless you're getting married in the same place that you embark, but it worked for us! Boy did our enterage make a spectacle though!
