Question NY pier for car rental.

There will be four of us cruising to Bermuda and we want to rent a van in order to drive to the pier, instead of flying. Does anyone know of a rental car company that will do one way rental before our cruise? We will be driving from Cincinnati to New York with the arrival the day before our cruise, thought the van would be plenty big for our entire luggage. I don’t want to rent a vehicle for a week just to let it sit in the parking garage. Is there a rental car company that is close to the pier for the return? Thank you in advance for the help.

I don't know exactly where, but look for a location close to 49th St. and 11th Ave. and you will be very close to the pier. All of the large car rental agencies are in NYC so just pick one and call them. With all your luggage you'll end up in a taxi to the pier most likely, so proximity isn't that critical. There are several agencies on west 76th St. which is a $6.00 cab ride to the pier.
