Port of Miami-Best Place to Watch Ships?

We'll be in Miami Saturday prior to our cruise which departs Sunday. Where's the best vantage point to watch the cruise ships sail Saturday evening? How good of a view do you get from Bayside Marketplace?

Tom,

If you are at Bayside, then you will have the island, where you board the ships, blocking your view.

The best, I think, is the MacArthur Causeway that runs alongside the channel where the ships leave.

There is a pulloff where the seaplanes are, that you could park (its like a little park area) and what the ships leave. All that is between you and the ship, is water.

Have Fun!

Thanks for the tip! I thought that would be the case, but it's SO hard to tell from a map. We're looking forward to it!
