My husband and I have a balcony suite reserved on the sensation. We originally had a cabin that was right next to the elevators. A cabin became available away from the eelvators on the port side so we switched cains. We were afraid of the noise and/or smoke. Was this a good idea? Also, is it normal for cruise prices to go up 4 months prior to the cruise? We booked in may and have been checking the fares to see if they drop. When we checked today, they went up $700 for the two of us. This seems like alot. Thanks for your help. This is our first cruise.
If you put a deposit down on the cruise, your fare will NOT go up. The rates you see on the internet are for people who haven't booked yet. Your price at the time you made the deposit is the price you pay. However, keep checking the site. If the cruise fare for your cabin category goes DOWN, you get a refund! Read the rules, terms & conditions, & cancellation policy in the back of the brochure. You need to know that information.
