Default How early is very early?

We a cruising on the Dawn Princess southbound from Seward and see by the Princess Cruise Companion that we will be at mile 745 (Point Baker) "very early". Can anyone tell me just how early? Still dark? Thank you for any good guess even.

I think it would depend on what time of the summer you will be there if it will be dark or not. In the summer it isn't dark for long. I'd ask onboard.

Oh course, what was I thinking not mentioning the date. We'll be at mile 745 on September 14. It's a good idea to ask on board. I know I'm being impatient. It's just getting so close and I'm excited about seeing Alaska and don't want to miss anything. I'm even wondering what time I'll need to wake up to see Vancouver Island come into view and that's the last day of the cruise. Maybe I better get a life other than spending every moment planning the cruise. Thanks for your idea.
