arrival time

Sailing on HAL from Norfolk on Nov lst. I live about 5 miles from the dock. Tentative sailing time is 5:OO p.m. What time should I go to the pier? Is there any advantage to getting there early? Thanks for your input.

The earlier that you get there, the more food you can eat.

We usually aim for an "in between" time before first boarding and sailaway. The lines can be incredible.

Re: arrival time

Just remember... your cruise starts when you get on the ship, not when it sails away! I like to get there as early as possible, so I'm getting as much cruise time as I can possibly get.
