I got my document for our 10-27 cruise on the Veendam. I book a guarnteed inside Class Y cabin. I was told the cabin would be determined about two weeks before the cruise. This coming Saturday will be two week before out cruise. When I got doc no cabin was listed. Just said 000.
I have booked guarntee before on other ships and always knew cabin when we got docs.
What does this mean with HAL. Anyone have experience with this?
It means you'll get your cabin assignment when you get to the pier. You have your docs so you will definitely sail. Who knows, maybe you'll get an upgrade. That's where I've always received mine. And I've gone to the pier more than once without a cabin assignment. Good luck!
We booked Zaandam on a gty and the docs came with Cabin 000. 10 days before the cruise I called HAL and the cabin was assigned. Another couple who also went on the same cruise were contacted 10 days prior to the cruise by HAL and given a cabin number.
So it worh a try to contact HAL and see if the cabin number is assigned.
This was for a recent cruise, Sept 29 to Oct 5.
We received our documents today from RCI sailing on the Radiance, 11/5/01. We also booked a guanantee and the docs had no cabin assignment. Does that mean we will have to wait until we get to the pier, too? Ship is very full and I do not have great expectations. Thanks for any info.
