Port of Tampa

We're booked on the Rhapsody out of Tampa in January...what is a good hotel to book for an overnight before the cruise? Where is the Port of Tampa? Best way to get to the ship on Cruise Day? Thanks!

Are you flying to Tampa or driving? There are lots of hotels close to the airport with free pick up at the airport. You will have to get a cab to get to the pier. The pier is right next to the arena where the Tampa pro hockey team plays, just northeast of downtown. It's not hard to get to. Try tampabayonline (www.tbo.com) for a better list of hotels.

Where can I find a list of cruise ships and destinations of cruises leaving the port of Tampa? Also same for New Orleans
