Default Port in Tampa and Port Carniveal

Was wondering how far it was from airport to ports...
We are trying to book a cruise, and we usually do our own
air....but not sure of the distance and cost to the ports...any help?

Port Canaveral is a 45 minute straight shot on an expressway that (would you believe) starts at Disney World, goes by Orlando International and runs smack into the terminals. Transportation opportunities abound

The ports in Tampa are a little more than an hour from Orlando, depending on traffic, and whether the driver knows where he is going. Your TA would have to arrange that. The terminals are a taxi ride from Tampa airport.

Cost vary, no two people on the shuttle will have paid the same. I know the shuttles from Orlando to Port Canaveral are very comfortable busses.

More than you wanted to know.

On castawayclub.com there is a *valuable* coupon from Harry Limo, who says he is *cheaper than a shuttle, taxi, town car, limo and includes a free grocery stop*.

Certainly not an endorsement but a lot of people make a good living hauling folks back and forth between Orlando and Port Canaveral.

Just sailed out of Tampa Jan 5. The taxi ride from Tampa Int'l Airport for 3 people and enough luggage for a world cruise was $22.00. There was a charge for handling more than three bags. It took about 20 minutes. When you get off the ship it is mass confusion trying to get a cab to the airport. Just make sure to get to the head of the taxi line if you want to get a cab.

My friends were first time cruisers and I think they emptied their closets when they packed. Didn't use most of the stuff they took.

We are using the transport company in Feb from Orlando to Port Canaveral, round trip is $100.00, reasonable if there are more than 2 in your party. You have your own van that picks you up at airport and deposits you at the pier. They are great people to work with.
