Does anyone know anything about "coupon books" for drinks that are purchased before crusing? I've read they bring drinks to $3.75 including gratuity as opposed to $5-5.75 if purchased individually on the boat.
On RCL they are royal coctail cards and were for 12 drinks, not incl call brands. The drinks work out about 3.75 per drink, so don't use them for beers or drinks of the day which are better to sign for. They were available in any of the bars and outside the windjammer on the first day.
My experience with the free drink coupons I've received as incentives is that the bartenders and wait staff don't appreciate them because there is no tip involved. Found if I put a buck on their tray, they leave without throwing it back at me.
