Getting from Seattle to Vancouver
We are sailing out of Vancouver for an Alaskan cruise in July. We had planned on using Aadvantage mileage for our flights to Vancouver, but none are available. We CAN, however fly to Seattle. Now my question is....how do we get from Seattle to Vancouver. I've heard there is no direct ferry. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Re: Getting from Seattle to Vancouver
We are spending a few days in Seattle before going to Vancouver. We are taking the AMTRAK Cascades (Train #760)
Only down fall is that is that it leaves Seattle at 7:45am. Walter |
Re: Getting from Seattle to Vancouver
My partner and I will be on the 5/4/02 Star Princess from LA to Vancouver. After spending a few minutes on line I found that in addition to the train there are busses that leave several times a day to Seattle from Vancouver.

Re: Getting from Seattle to Vancouver
Alaska Airlines has a Saab turbo prop that jumps the distance in under hr. Between Vancover and Seattle.

Re: Getting from Seattle to Vancouver
Thanks everyone! After looking at the options, we've decided that the train sounds like a lot of fun. Although it's a "luxury" motor coach going Northbound (at least that's what they said), we got the real thing Southbound. Although we're not leaving until July, I am chomping at the bit to go!!!! Thanks again!
