I just finished browsing thru CM Bargain Finder Cruises (ithink that is what it was called) and the prices were given either inside or outside. My Q: does outside mean best available or just an ocean view room? None stated prices for balconies. Can you clarify?? I would like a balcony, so the outside price does me no good unless it is for a balcony.
Gloria, I am sure that it means an outside guarentee which means you will get at least the lowest cat of cabin that has an outside view meaning at least a porthole. You may get lucky and get a window or very lucky and get a balcony but if you plan on the lowest and worse cabin in the cat you are guarenteeing then you are never dissapointed. <G>
Keep in mind when taking a "guaranty"you do not allways get upgraded to a better grade of cabin. You may end up all the forward or aft or next to an elevator ect. As long as you can live with the"negitives"that fine. Twice I have been upgraded on RCL but each time I was given a cabin all the way aft.(last cabin on the deck). The first time I had a lot of vibration from the ships propellers and the second time it was a perfect cabin and I just loved it. The cabin selection is especially important when booking lower priced cabins as they can really be in an isolated or poor location.
Best of luck.
