Default Post Cruise/late flight

My flight leaving Miami is not until the evening. We would like to eat lunch in South Beach and explore the area. What do we do with our luggage? We will be on Carnival, but we are not booking air through them. Is there a way to get them to take luggage to airport?

Call the airline and see if you can have an early check-in?

I doubt that Carnival would take your luggage.

Hi Cujochurch,
Sorry, these days we have to handle our own luggage. But you may consider renting a car for the day where you can drop off at the airport and see the sights before your flight? Another alternative is to take a post cruise excersion, where they would drop you off at the airport, you should be able to get all those details once onboard.

It used to be so nice to check in at the pier and have them take the luggage, I think those days are over for now

If you can avoid it, you don't want a car on South Beach. The traffic is horrid and parking is nearly impossible. Remember that South Beach was put together back in the 1930's - 1940's and roads weere small. It was designed for working class people to have a nice, inexpensive vacation and most people took the bus and left their cars at home.
