Can you please comment on your experience with a balcony cabin listed as "Partially Obstructed View"? I understand from Carnival Rep that this could mean as little as 25% - seeing the underside of a lifeboat, to 100% obstruction if the Captain deems it necessary to raise or lower lifeboats due to the height of the seas. In order to get my father on the same deck as my husband & me,(and he needed a balcony room that slept 3) he had to book this type of cabin - all others were sold out. His cabin # is 5182. I'm just wondering how bad the "25% obstruction" really is. Thank you!
Hi- can`t understand the concern. Being a canny Scot, I always book the cheapest inside cabin. I only use a cabin for sleeping and changing. Who wants to look out a cabin window? If I want to view the waves, I sit out up top, with a dram in hand.
