The travel section of today's Jacksonville's Times Union listed the best cruise ships according to CruiseMate's readers. Not the first time. Either the travel editor spends a lot of time on your website or you have friends here.
As a subscriber the the Times Union I am glad that they have so much respect for our readers! Of course those that visit and participate in our website are terrific people, many of whom are exceptionally knowledgable about cruising, which is why you can get such great advice here. This is a great kudo to this website and I would like to give the credit to our readers, they are the best!

CRS Pamda? Scroll back a bit and you will see that I was the one that pointed out the mention in National Geographic Traveler. Besides, it was the readers that voted for the cruise ships. No friends in Jacksonville? I live in Orange Park, but close enough. I would think the prospect of a travel editor making your website a frequent stop would be a compliment.
CRS? It's probably so obvious that I can't figure it out.
My point was that there was no (that I know of) sucking up for the mention. If you had something to do with it, please take this as a promise of a big, sloppy kiss and a Frozen Thingee from the entire CM staff when we next visit family in Fernandina Beach. Kuki is not invited because of the space the golf clubs take up to say nothing of those darned antlers.
It is, indeed, a compliment and I think I can say on behalf of all staffers that we are honored.
Each Sunday's travel section there is a list of the ten best whatever from a variety of sources.
As I recall, last Sunday had a list of the ten best cruise ships as selected by the readers of Cruisemates website. Our 20+ year old cat uses up a lot of newpaper and it has long since...well never mind.
This isn't the first time the travel editor has used Cruisemates as a source.
