We would like to book a 7 days cruise with the millenium. The period is from the 27 of october. This cruise is in the eastern caribbean.
Does anyone know if the ship and the region are a good choise?
What about the weather?
IMHO the ship and the region are oustanding. Celebrity's Millennium is my favorite ship. As far as the weather is concerned...you will be sailing during "Hurricane Season". But keep in mind that with today's technology the captain is well aware of the weather condtions and will not put you in harms way. Your itinerary may change a little if there is a storm out there. Have a great cruise!

Millenium was our first cruise experience and we loved it. The service, the food, and the surroundings were all excellant. Everyone has different likes and dislikes, but I would say that I think you would really enjoy a trip on this ship. Phyll
This Eastern Caribbean itinerary has the following ports San Juan, St Thomas, Nassau and Catalina Island. Catalina island is Celebrity's private island on The Dominican Republic.
Our worry is the hurricane period since we live in Europe and here we don't know any thing like this, we only see the results on TV.
We are also looking for a ship with a good kitchen and since we don't take the childeren with us, they adviced Celebrity cruises and since we don't have a lot of choices for the period it has to be the millenium.
