first of all, thanks for the replies on a previous post of mine relating to documents. I have since received all my paperwork so I guess all is now official and set to sail! One questions however, relating to tipping. I realize there is a tipping procedure and expected amount(s) for the waiters and cabin stewards, etc. but how about if you order room service? Do you separately tip the waiter who delivers the food to your cabin? I would presume so but I have yet to read anything about that. I appreciate any suggestions! THanks. (2 weeks and counting every minute.........can't wait!!!!!!!!).
It depends on the individual situation. If room service is delivered by my own cabin attendant (or butler), which is frequently the case, I don't tip at all. (It becomes part of my consideration when deciding on their end of cruise gratuity.) If it is delivered by a room service waiter, I tip a dollar or two, depending on what we've ordered.
