Have you thought about talking to your TA?

Do it.

Yes, give your travel agent a call and find out if they have received the docs, they should also be able to tell you what cabin you are in. Your docs should be arriving any day now, have fun!

Here's your answer ... great hotel

We were able to sit on the pool deck and hear some great bands playing out on the deck at the saloon next door. There were hundreds of little boats out on the water, enjoying the show, too.

If you want to spend the big bucks, you can stay at the del Coronado (fabulous) but this should suit your needs very well.

Ask for the harborside view. The parking lot side is not very exciting.

Please do NOT remind them of the ice sculpture elephant that I floated in the pool during the Republican National Convention in San Diego. They might charge you double. On the other hand, you might get a free room.

The breakfasts are totally excellent. It's a terrific value.

Given a choice, I would go a day earlier to explore the many pleasures of nearby Mexico, the San Diego Zoo (one of the world's best) and the gaslight downtown district.

Heck. Make that TWO days.

Have a great time and tell us all about it when you get back.

hi! I know what you are going through. I felt the same way. I leave on the 14th for a cruise on the enchantment of the seas and I didn't receive my paperwork until last week. I still don't know my room assignment either. I bought "guaranteed rate" so I'm told I won't find out my actual cabin # for a few more days yet. Hang in there..I'm sure all is fine! Have fun.........bon voyage!!!!!!!11
