Default port of New Orleans

Hey. can anyone tell me anything about the port of New Orleams? thihnkin about taking a cruise out of there. Do kids go on cruises out of there? is there easy access? etc... thanks a bundle

It is very nice... Lots of fun things to do if you can stay a day or two also. We were there in May.. Had a Ball. Saw lots of kids there also. Enjoy!! Char

I have never taken a cruise out of the Port of New Orleans but I have visited there many times. New Orleans is a great city! If you do decided to go on a cruise from there you must do a pre or cost cruise stay. The French Quarters is near the Port and there are wonderful hotels, restuarants, and sights to be seen. Please stop by Pat O'briens and have a Hurrican for me. Be careful they are very stong ; > !
