More days at sea going to Bermuda. The island is very British, clean and quaint. Good shopping, restaurants and watering holes. Great golf. Dress decently. Cruise ships divide themselves between three ports, each practically within sight of each other. You would enjoy a first visit but it does get small in a hurry.
Much more diversity in southern Carib, island hopping reduces the ship to an expensive ferry boat. Islands take on culture of nationality who owns them. Much better water sports. Shopping good in the dutch ports, others degenerate to tourist traps. Caribbean equals laid back lifestyle, balmy weather no matter when, lots of people from all the ships that will surround you where ever you go.
Bermuda - Adult, civil, sophisticated, upscale, chance to enjoy the ship.
S. Carib - Going ashore reason for being, frenzied, fun, different, downscale and grubby.
Your nickel.
